The Seeker
Paul had always felt a gnawing discomfort with the ordinary. The world, with its mundane routines and predictable patterns, seemed like a blank canvas waiting to be filled with something more meaningful. Having glimpsed the mystical in fleeting moments, he knew there was a deeper reality to uncover. He yearned to understand the universe's grand design and his place within it. To do this, he practiced meditation to calm his mind. He also read a lot of old books and ancient texts, trying to understand their hidden wisdom and esoteric teachings.
Ancient Awakening
Paul started to fall asleep, and the world around him faded away. He was pulled deeper and deeper into the unknown, and then he became conscious of his surroundings. He was standing in a dark room with stone walls. The smell of incense was strong, making the dream feel very real.
In the dim light, he made out a circle of figures dressed in white robes. Their faces were hidden by shadows, but their old, dirty sandals showed that they had traveled wide and far. He felt nervous when he realized he wasn't alone. The dream began to take shape, becoming more vivid with each passing moment.
A woman approached him. Her eyes were dark and intense. She seemed to be looking right through him. Paul felt nervous. She put her hand on his elbow and led him to a table. She told him to sit down. After listening to the group talk, he realized they were Cathars, a group of people who lived a long time ago in medieval Europe.
Paul soon learned that the Cathars had a dualistic view of the world. They believed that the spiritual world was good and pure, while the material world was bad and evil. They wanted to free their souls from the material world.
Paul could feel their energy, and he realized they were united and shared a common purpose. He began to feel calm and peaceful, instead of the unease he had felt before. He felt connected to these ancient souls, a connection that went beyond time and space. In that moment, Paul saw himself as a Cathar Perfect. He was amazed and full of wonder.
Beyond the Veil
Paul spent the next few days lost in thought. He replayed his dream over and over again in his mind. He tried to connect his ancient memories to his present life. He remembered times when he felt very peaceful, like the world was disappearing and he was left with a calm feeling. He also remembered how beautiful nature was, how big the sky was, and how powerful the ocean was. And he remembered the strong feeling of purpose that had pushed him on his spiritual journey.
These experiences, he realized, were the threads that wove the tapestry of his spiritual journey. His fascination with the unseen, the hidden, and the unknown mirrored the dream's occult and spiritual themes. And his intense emotions, often bottled up, reflected the dream's message of transformation and the challenges that lay ahead.
As Paul thought about his experiences, he started to see a pattern. It was like a curtain had been lifted, showing him a hidden picture made of threads of spiritual awakening, personal change, and a deep connection to something bigger than himself.
Paul sat down to meditate and focused on the old teachings of the Cathars. He imagined the demiurge, a shadowy figure behind the curtain of reality. He thought the demiurge was the cause of all suffering, the creator of the material prison where souls were trapped.
But Paul believed that inside each soul, there was a spark of divine light, a part of the supreme being. He felt a wave of hope and warmth as he realized he had the power to free this spark, to break free from the demiurge's control.
Paul couldn't shake the feeling of unease that stayed with him after the dream. He thought back to the times when he had doubted himself and felt unsure. He remembered the times when he felt disconnected and lost in a sea of spiritual confusion. The dream reminded him that his spiritual journey wouldn't be easy.
A Glimpse of the Past
The marketplace was loud and chaotic, with people shouting, arguing, and clinking their coins. The strong smell of spices and herbs filled Paul's nose, mixing with the sweat of the crowd. Paul was wearing simple white robes like a Cathar and had a short haircut. He felt a sense of déjà vu, as if he had lived this moment before, a memory etched deep within his soul.
Paul was walking through the crowded market when he suddenly saw his friend Laura. She looked younger than he remembered. Her eyes were bright with excitement, like a Cathar initiate. They started talking, sharing their beliefs and discussing secret meetings, and the constant threat of being persecuted.
Suddenly, Paul wanted to be alone. He excused himself and left the marketplace.
He followed a hidden path into the forest. This led to a clearing where a group of Cathars were gathered. They were sitting in a circle, talking quietly, with a sense of purpose. Paul listened carefully as they discussed their teachings, their understanding of God, and their plans to spread their message. They were friendly with each other, which was very different from the loneliness he felt in his modern life.
Suddenly, it became quiet, except for a sound of footsteps in the distance. Paul felt nervous when he realized they were in danger. Inquisitors, with angry faces, stormed into the clearing, shouting loudly and accusing them.
The Cathars panicked. Some ran deeper into the woods, disappearing into the trees. Others were caught by the Inquisitors, and their cries could be heard through the forest. Terror gripped Paul as he realized he was in danger. The Inquisitors were closing in on him. He looked around, realizing there was no way to escape.
Paul saw Laura being pulled away by the Inquisitors, and she was struggling. His heart sank. He knew what would happen to her—torture, maybe even death. And there was nothing he could do to save her. He felt hopeless.
A Seeker's Quest
The sun was just coming up, painting the sky in pretty colors. Paul looked out his window and felt a sense of peace. It was a calm feeling he hadn't had since his dream. The dream had been a turning point, lighting a new fire inside him. It reminded him to connect with his inner self and find the wisdom deep within him.
Paul was continuing his journey with the Cathars, and he felt really determined. He wasn't alone in his search. He was part of a bigger group of people who shared his dream. Together, they were trying to bring the wisdom of the past into the present and make a future filled with hope. As the sun rose higher, Paul knew he was on the right path. It was a path lit by the Cathars and the strong spirit of people.

Spiritual Empowerment
I would inject this into my veins if it was an option.
Catholicism finally issued an official apology a few years ago. Some were hopeful that this could lead to some form of healing, yet soon after christianity hardened its position.
Today christians claim they were justified in their genocide, not unlike the situation with Palestine.
They scoff at their crimes, refusing to see deeper into the spiritual condition.
There are those, who whatever anyone says, remember the Cathari in dream and vision.
Some are calling for the release of the Ministry of the Magdalene.
I say mankind isn't ready.
