I loved the Dylan movie, but I’ve been a fan for a very long time. In fact, I hung out at the gaslight Coffee house before Dylan arrived on the scene. There is so much to write about

Regarding the astrology of that time and the present. We are moving into a very creative time, it may not be in music, but maybe space travel, what do you think catharine? I like your thoughts on the Sabian symbols.

I am not sure, but think it may be a creative time in relation to healing, health, and healthcare as the current systems are not serving us well. That being positive change. As for negative use of creativity, most of Bill Gates projects. Technology used without regard for the unintended consequences

I saw Dylan in Washington, DC. He was so tiny, as my seat was far far away from the stage. I am lukewarm in relationship to his early folk music. I am more a Blood On the Tracks type, but appreciate all he has done. That is cool that you hung out at the Gaslight Coffee House. And yes, so much to write about.

I agree that we are about to move into a very creative time. I am not sure it will be music so much as the trend seems to be AI music. Check this out: https://www.honest-broker.com/p/the-ugly-truth-about-spotify-is-finally?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

Sad. Really sad.

I have think about this a little (where the creativity will manifest). I am sure technology will be involved for better or worse

Those thoughts on the Sabian Symbols are Lynda Hill’s. She nails it every time.

I just watched the movie on Bob Dylan. It takes in the early 60’s when we had Jupiter Square Saturn. It is repeating this year. Dylan was born with a Jupiter conjunct Saturn and he blossomed during the first square. Astrological sh Les are fascinating to watch.

Interesting. So in addition to both planets changing signs later this year, they will begin the year square one another, about the time the Dylan movie (A Complete Unknown) is released. The movie premiered Dec 10, 2024 in LA. Jupiter was 15 Gemini and Saturn was 13 Pisces

As for the square in the early 60s, this was a time of intense social and political change. There was a desire for radical change and a need for stability and order at the same time. This centered on the civil rights movement, the Vietnam war, the Cold War and the Space Race.

This was reflected in the music of the early 60s. “You had the exuberant energy of early rock and roll, with artists like Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry pushing boundaries and celebrating youthful freedom – pure Jupiter! But you also see the emergence of folk music, with artists like Bob Dylan and Joan Baez tackling serious social issues like civil rights and the Vietnam War, reflecting that Saturnian need for responsibility and a deeper meaning.”

Being that I can’t find a time for the showing, I decided to take a look at the Sabian Symbols. I am using Lynda Hill as my source:

“Jupiter 15 Gemini: A WOMAN ACTIVIST ON A PLATFORM, IN AN EMOTIONAL SPEECH, DRAMATIZING HER CAUSE

This Symbol shows the need to be able to voice one’s needs, frustrations, emotions or demands without fear of being reprimanded. You may feel misunderstood and disadvantaged simply because of who you are or the position you hold. Even when you stand up for what you feel, you may strike resistance, partly due to others’ ignorance. You must press your case or the status quo will remain. If the cause is just and your communications are clear, you will be heard by those who understand or resonate with what you are saying and your influence will spread.

Stating one’s case. Revealing social passions. Being a mouthpiece for personal or social causes. Wanting people to listen and care. Taking it to the streets. Having a platform.

Aggressively pressing opinions on the unwilling and disinterested. Rational or political structures overriding one’s life. Throwing tantrums and yelling. Soapboxes.

Saturn 14 Pisces: AN OFFICER DRILLING HIS MEN IN A SIMULATED ATTACK

This shows being well rehearsed, prepared and ready for anything that life throws at you. When you’re well rehearsed, you are able to spring to attention when situations warrant it. You may feel that you need to rehearse or prepare for difficult situations. There is wisdom in practicing to reduce the chance of error or failure. However, are you going over and over possible positive or negative outcomes thereby losing the joy that can be found in relaxing and letting down your guard? Sometimes the things we think are going to happen don’t happen at all. Choosing where, when and how to be ready and willing to go for objectives is half the battle.

Taking orders from a higher authority. Responding to situations. The Higher Self training the Lower Self. The need for defense. Smoke alarms. Martial arts. Bomb shelters. Ranks.

Rigid routine for no real purpose. Overreactions. Seeing threats or attack everywhere. Going over things too much. Not knowing what to do or how to act. Drills.”

How’s that?

I believe Jupiter/Saturn was exact Dec 24th. The official release date of the Dylan movie is Dec 25th

So Janet, how did you like the movies.
